Azerbaijan confirms citizen killed in Russian attack on Kyiv region

Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the death of its citizen during a Russian attack on the Kyiv region. According to available information, the deceased is a 48-year-old man, a native of the Kurdamir district. The President of Ukraine reported that two people were killed in the Kyiv region as a result of the attack, one of them being a citizen of Azerbaijan.

According to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, three residents were killed and eight more people were injured as a result of enemy attacks on the region over the past day. It is noted that only civilian objects were targeted. In total, 21 civilian sites were damaged in five districts of the region, including Brovary, Bucha, Fastiv, Boryspil, and Bila Tserkva districts.

In the Bucha district, specifically in the village of Sofiivska Borshchahivka, a drone struck the territory of a market. According to preliminary data, two people were killed there, and about ten more were injured. A fire was also reported at the market. Additionally, four people were injured as a result of the night attack on Kyiv, with destruction recorded in five districts of the city.

Separately, it is noted that in the Odesa region, Russian forces struck a vessel flying the flag of Palau. Other details of this incident have not been provided at this time.
