Russian strikes on Kharkiv region kill five, injure 40

Over the past day, Russian forces struck Kharkiv and 13 settlements in Kharkiv Oblast. Five people were killed and 40 more were injured as a result of the attacks, said the head of the regional military administration, Oleh Syniehubov.

In Kharkiv, women aged 66 and 80 were killed, and 42 people were injured, including three children. In the settlement of Shevchenkove, a 74-year-old man was wounded, and women aged 69 and 72 experienced acute stress reactions.

In a field near the village of Skovorodynivka in the Zolochiv community, a 50-year-old man was killed. On the road between the villages of Dovzhyk and Myronivka in the same community, a 66-year-old man was killed.

The strikes were carried out with aerial bombs and various types of drones.
