Russian attack on Kharkiv kills one, injures six

Overnight, Russian forces launched missile strikes on Kharkiv's Industrial District. One person was killed and six others were injured in the attack, the State Emergency Service reported.

According to Viktor Zabashta, head of the Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine, four of the wounded are in serious condition, including two police officers.

The strike sparked a fire that engulfed parts of a two-story administrative building, cars, and debris. Rescuers extinguished the blaze. Residential and administrative-industrial buildings, as well as vehicles, were also damaged.

Emergency rescue units, pyrotechnicians, and psychologists from the State Emergency Service, along with National Police officers, medics, volunteers, and municipal services, were involved in responding to the aftermath.
