Police officer killed in Kramatorsk after Russian drone hits patrol car

In Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, police officer Artem Kovtun was killed as a result of a Russian drone strike on a patrol vehicle. The tragedy occurred on Tuesday, 06 October.

Head of the Patrol Police Department Oleksii Biloshytskyi reported that the deceased remained on duty in Kramatorsk until the very end. He was described as a colleague, a brother-in-arms and a patrol officer who performed his duties to the last.

It is known that Artem Kovtun is survived by his parents, wife, a 13-year-old son and an 8-year-old daughter.
