Russian artillery strikes residential areas of Kherson

On Wednesday, 07 October, Russian artillery continued shelling the coastal areas of the Korabel district in Kherson. At about 09:30, a 46-year-old local woman was injured in an enemy drone attack.

The woman sustained a blast injury, concussion, and shrapnel wounds to the chest and abdomen. She is receiving medical care.

During the night and morning, including at about 06:50 and 07:50, Russian artillery struck the Korabel district (Ostriv). A significant portion of the strikes hit residential areas.

Local residents report fires in residential areas after the overnight shelling.
