Russian attack on Rivne damages homes and businesses

In Rivne, the number of wounded in a Russian attack on the residential sector and enterprises has risen to eight. Eight victims were taken to hospital, including a 14-year-old boy. Four of them were hospitalised.

Residential premises, 9 cars and an outbuilding were damaged. According to the Rivne Regional Military Administration, the roofs of two residential buildings were damaged, windows were blown out, and four cars caught fire.

The community hotline “1553” received 65 appeals from residents regarding damaged property. A city headquarters was set up to eliminate the consequences. Rescuers and utility services are working on site, and teams have been formed to record the damage caused.

SBU investigators are documenting the consequences of the attack as part of a pre-trial investigation.
