Russian Drone Strikes on Sumy Region: Dead and Injured, Police Report

As a result of Russian drone strikes on the Sumy region on 07 October, two people were killed and seven more were wounded or injured. In the Sumy community, a drone strike killed a 40-year-old man, and a 43-year-old woman was wounded. In the Svesa community, a 51-year-old man was killed.

In Sumy, a drone hit an apartment building. A 16-year-old boy, 27-year-old and 46-year-old women, as well as girls aged 7 and 14, were injured. Windows of the building, a kindergarten, and cars were damaged. The children were in a shelter during the attack and were not harmed.

Another 57-year-old woman was injured as a result of a drone hitting a yard. The number of wounded from the strike on the building increased to five — among them three children and two women.
