On the evening of Monday, 05 October, Russian forces struck a residential building in Zaporizhzhia. The attack caused a fire and injured three people. A 63-year-old man is in hospital in serious condition.
Rescuers freed people from the 7th, 8th and 9th floors and continue to check the building. Bomb disposal technicians are working at the scene.
According to acting regional governor Mykhailo Semikin, rescue operations are ongoing at the strike site. Rescuers are searching for anyone who may remain inside.
