18 people remain in hospital in Kharkiv after Russian strikes

As of the morning of Tuesday, October 6, 18 people remain in hospital after air strikes on Kharkiv's Slobidskyi district, according to Kharkiv Regional Military Administration spokesperson Anna Hontar. Four of them are in serious condition.

Mayor Ihor Terekhov said that residents of one entrance of a building in the Slobidskyi district, damaged by the air strike on October 5, will likely need to be relocated, according to a preliminary assessment. In total, more than 60 people are known to have sustained injuries or acute stress reactions, and six people were killed.

Overnight, in the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv, a warehouse building of a civilian enterprise caught fire as a result of a Russian attack. No people sustained injuries. State Emergency Service units and municipal services have been deployed to address the aftermath.
