Strike on vegetable storage in Kharkiv region kills six workers

On Monday, 05 October, a strike on a vegetable storage facility in the Kharkiv region killed six workers of the enterprise. At the time of the strike, the workers were sorting vegetables.

Local residents accuse the authorities of negligence, as there was no shelter near the enterprise. According to them, Valerii Dereka and the head of the Malynivka settlement military administration, Mykola Semerianov, were aware of the dangerous conditions but did not conduct inspections or respond.

Three weeks before the attack, the enterprise had already come under shelling, yet no shelter had been built.
