Woman and son injured in Sumy night airstrike, homes damaged

In Sumy, a 60-year-old woman and her 41-year-old son were wounded in a night attack involving a Russian guided aerial bomb. The woman was hospitalised, while the man said he sustained a concussion.
The aerial bomb landed near a house in a private residential area. One house was destroyed, and two others were damaged. Debris pierced the walls and roofs of neighbouring homes, and windows and doors were blown out.
Residents were asleep when the strike occurred. One family woke up to the air raid alert and managed to cover themselves with blankets, which protected them from shattered glass. A man who arrived at the destroyed house found a dead dog.
