Two Killed, Eight Injured Including a Child in Sumy Region Shelling
Russian forces struck settlements across Sumy region over the past 24 hours, killing two people and injuring eight others, including a child, according to local authorities.
Over the past 24 hours, Russian armed forces carried out 65 strikes on 18 settlements across Sumy region. The attacks resulted in casualties among the civilian population, including fatalities and injuries.
In the Sumy community, a strike using guided aerial bombs killed an 80-year-old woman and a 16-year-old girl. A 66-year-old man was injured, along with a 54-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man. Additional injuries were reported among women aged 54, 41 and 27, as well as a 12-year-old girl.
A separate drone attack injured a 72-year-old woman. In total, eight people were reported injured over the 24-hour period, including one child.
Investigative and operational police teams, along with explosive ordnance disposal specialists, worked at the affected sites to document the aftermath of the strikes.
