Kyiv repairs damaged section of North Bridge after attack

In Kyiv, the section of the North Bridge damaged after an attack has been restored. According to the Kyiv City State Administration, bridge workers reinforced the roadway base, covered it with a special metal plate and restored the asphalt concrete surface, as well as repaired damaged structural elements.

Witness Valentyna said that before the attack an explosion occurred on the bridge, after which two cars were damaged and debris remained on the asphalt. According to her, traffic congestion began on the bridge afterwards.

Restoration work on the facility was completed on Tuesday, 06 October.
