Damaged NAS building in Kyiv to be sealed before cold weather
The building of the National Academy of Sciences in Kyiv, damaged in a Russian attack, is planned to be sealed before cold weather. The strike and fire damaged about 900 square metres out of 2,350, and part of the premises was flooded with water. Earlier, two academy employees died as a result of the attack.
The building of the National Academy of Sciences in Kyiv, damaged by a Russian strike, is planned to be sealed before cold weather, Vice President Bohdanov said on Tuesday, 06 October, at 12:19.
As a result of the attack and fire, about 900 m² out of 2,350 m² of the building were damaged, which is almost 40%. Part of the premises was also flooded with water during firefighting.
As reported earlier, on 28 September, a Russian drone hit the NAS building in the centre of Kyiv. Two academy employees died as a result of the attack.
