Russian forces strike Kremenchuk, Kyiv and Dnipro

On the night of October 7, Russian forces launched a massive strike on Kremenchuk, Kyiv and Dnipro. In Kremenchuk, explosions were heard at approximately 03:30 and 04:54, including after missile launches toward the city.

The head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Dyakivnych, reported a massive missile and drone attack on Poltava region and explosions in Kremenchuk. Residents were urged to remain in shelters until the air raid alert was lifted.

In Kyiv, at least 15 impacts were recorded within 15 minutes, and 10 in Dnipro. A large fire broke out in the capital.

According to preliminary information, the main shelling had ended, but the threat of ballistic missiles remained, with new launches expected after 04:30.
