Russian Overnight Attacks on Ukraine Kill Civilians and Damage Homes
In the night into Wednesday, Russian forces attacked several regions of Ukraine. At least 13 people were killed and more than 40 were wounded. The city of Pryluky in Chernihiv Oblast was hit hardest, with 9 people killed, including three children. In Kremenchuk, 430 apartments were damaged, and in Oleksandriia the death toll rose to two.

In the night into Wednesday, Russian forces struck targets across Ukraine. At least 13 people were killed in the attacks, with more than 40 others wounded.
The city of Pryluky in Chernihiv Oblast suffered the most. There, 9 people were killed, including three children. Another 34 people, among them 5 children, sustained injuries. Among the victims were a policewoman, her police officer husband, and her mother, who was killed.
In the city of Kremenchuk in Poltava Oblast, the number of wounded rose to 19. The attack damaged 430 apartments.
In Oleksandriia in Kirovohrad Oblast, the death toll increased to two, with three more people wounded. One person remains unaccounted for.
The city of Kherson also came under attack.
