Teen injured in Nova Poshta strike wakes from coma

15-year-old Maksym, injured in the strike on a Nova Poshta branch in Synelnykove, has woken from a coma. He was unconscious and on a ventilator for six days.

Maksym has already undergone three surgeries, with at least ten more ahead. After waking, he immediately asked his mother where he was and how much time had passed.

The boy remembers the moment of the attack and can describe what he experienced. The strike killed 17-year-old Oleksandr Hubenko and 15-year-old Ruslan Bereshchuk.
