Kyiv fires and water outages after Russian night attack

A Russian night attack on Kyiv on September 30 killed two people and left four others injured, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration. A woman was among the dead.

Fires and destruction occurred in the Sviatoshynskyi, Podilskyi, Holosiivskyi and Solomianskyi districts of the capital. In the Sviatoshynskyi district, about 10 private houses were damaged, one of which caught fire.

In the Podilskyi district, the enemy struck a non-residential building, causing a fire on the roof and building materials on the 6th floor. A fire and destruction were also recorded at a warehouse building and a two-storey private house.

In the Holosiivskyi district, a bathhouse, a temporary structure and a concrete mixer caught fire; the blaze was extinguished. In the Solomianskyi district, a grass covering burned in an open area. The city is experiencing power and water supply disruptions.
