Zelenskyy reports damage to energy facilities in Russian night attack

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that on the night of Tuesday, September 29, Russian forces attacked 9 regions of Ukraine. According to him, the strikes affected Kyiv region, Dnipro region, Kharkiv region, Sumy region, Donetsk region, Zaporizhzhia, Zhytomyr region, Volyn, and Rivne region.

In Kyiv, the depot of the Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi station, data and business centers, as well as residential buildings were damaged as a result of the shelling. In Odesa region, an educational institution, a dormitory, and two foreign vessels were damaged.

Overall, according to the president, energy facilities, substations, civilian enterprises, and residential buildings were damaged. He noted that cleanup efforts in cities and communities are ongoing almost continuously.
