Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia bridge injures five, damages road
On the night of October 6, Russian forces attacked one of the bridges across the Dnipro in Zaporizhzhia. Five people were injured and the road surface was damaged. Traffic across the bridge was temporarily restricted, then restored.

On the night of October 6, Russian forces attacked one of the bridges across the Dnipro in Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the strike, five people were injured, including two employees of the Red Cross who were on their way to work.
According to the regional military administration, the injured are women aged 24 and 59 and men aged 36, 43 and 54. The condition of the victims is described as mild.
Due to damage to the road surface, traffic across the Cable-stayed Bridge and the Preobrazhensky Bridge towards Khortytsia Island was temporarily restricted. A detour was arranged via the Dnipro Hydroelectric Station and the Arch Bridge. Later, the patrol police reported that traffic across the Preobrazhensky Bridge had been restored.
