Zelensky: Russia attacked Ukraine with over 100 strike drones
Overnight into Friday, 2 October, Russia attacked Ukraine with more than 100 strike drones. In Kyiv, the enemy struck the Pivdennyi Bridge and a residential high-rise building, with one person killed. In total, four people are known to have been injured.

Overnight into Friday, 2 October, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with more than 100 strike drones, almost half of which were jet-powered. Most of the drones were neutralised, but there were impacts and casualties.
In Kyiv, drones attacked the Pivdennyi Bridge several times, and in the morning Russian forces struck a residential high-rise building — one person was killed. In Kherson, a kindergarten was damaged; in Kharkiv, a shop, an institute and critical infrastructure facilities were hit.
Strikes were also recorded on Kramatorsk, Sumy, as well as in the Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Kyiv, Poltava and Rivne regions. So far, four people are known to have been injured.
