Russia attacks Ukraine with drones: casualties in Kyiv and Kharkiv
On the night of 28 September, Russia launched 165 drones at Ukraine. Casualties were recorded in Kyiv, Kharkiv and Chernihiv region. In Kharkiv, the number of wounded rose to 35, including ten children.

On the night of 28 September, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 165 drones. Air defence forces managed to neutralise 112 of them. Strikes were recorded at 14 locations in different regions of the country.
In Kharkiv, as a result of a strike on an apartment building in the Saltivskyi district, the number of casualties rose to 35 people, including ten children. The youngest affected child is three years old. According to local authorities, two people died in Kharkiv region: a man in the village of Shestakove and a woman in Velykyi Burluk.
In Kyiv, four people were injured as a result of the night attack. Damage was recorded in four districts of the city. In the morning, Russian forces also attacked the capital, striking two petrol stations in the Obolonskyi and Holosiivskyi districts, as well as an office building in the Shevchenkivskyi district.
In Chernihiv region, in the city of Novhorod-Siverskyi, on the evening of 27 September, a drone attacked a residential area. Four people were injured there, including two children. In total, strikes on residential buildings were also recorded in Sumy, Rivne and Odesa regions.
