Kyiv loses power and water in parts of city after strikes

On Wednesday, September 30, Russian forces launched a massive attack on Kyiv with ballistic missiles and drones. A worker of Kyivteploenergo was killed in the strike, and numerous fires broke out in the city.

After the explosions, electricity and water supply were lost in some districts of Kyiv. In particular, at the Vasylkivska metro station, power was also lost after the explosions.

On the order of Ukrenergo, emergency power outages were introduced in Kyiv; outage schedules are not in effect. Emergency power cuts were also introduced in Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Zhytomyr regions.

Emergency restoration work is ongoing. Energy workers are working to restore stable electricity supply as soon as possible.
